About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fully onsite environment. This role will focus primarily on general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The position will also assist with payroll processing approximately two days per week. Payroll experience is preferred but can be trained for a strong accounting professional.

- General Ledger accounting experience
- Journal entry and reconciliation experience
- Experience supporting month-end close
- Knowledge of payroll tax reporting
- Strong Excel skills
- Understanding of GAAP

Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and credit card reconciliations.
- Support month-end close activities and financial reporting deadlines.
- Analyze and research account variances.
- Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
- Assist with payroll processing and related support activities approximately two days per week.
- Work independently in a fast-paced accounting environment.
