About The Position

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for Anderson. This role oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking activities, and general ledger management. The Senior Accountant ensures timely and accurate financial reporting in support of the Regional Controller and serves as a key business partner to local operations.

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Experience with financial reporting processes and month-end close

  • Experience with Sage Intacct , ServiceTitan, and Ramp is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, revenue, and asset management
  • Perform and review monthly close activities, ensuring timely completion within five (5) business days unless otherwise directed by the Regional Controller
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records through regular general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare and review weekly cash forecasts in partnership with the Regional Controller
  • Approve cash disbursements (check, ACH, wire) by verifying amounts against supporting documentation following approval of the bill pay list
  • Partner with the General Manager to monitor departmental expenses and ensure alignment with budget
  • Support annual audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Manage intercompany transactions and ensure timely and accurate reconciliations across corporate and regional entities
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Coordinate and oversee monthly inventory cycle counts
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to strengthening accounting operations and internal controls
  • Participate in management meetings as needed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information
  • Build strong working relationships and act as a business partner to Anderson staff
