About The Position

Through advanced recycling and sustainability initiatives, CR&R plays a critical role in protecting communities and the environment. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of CR&R’s financial reporting. This role supports month-end close, financial analysis, and compliance while partnering closely with leadership and operational teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- ERP experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Partner with operations and leadership to support business decisions
