Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in either accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 2-years public auditing experience with an emphasis in manufacturing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and familiar with the entire Microsoft suite
  • Familiarity with ERP software.
  • Familiarity with Sox Compliance and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface and communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Controller with the monthly financial closing process including the preparation of monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly Financial Statements.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepares monthly journal entries, account analysis, and monthly close tasks as assigned.
  • Review monthly Prepaid Maintenance, Insurance and Inventory.
  • Project Accounting.
  • Lease Accounting.
  • Prepare Backlog and Bookings Reports for CSC and ARM.
  • Perform the development, maintenance and continual improvement of the standard cost system including standard cost review and maintenance.
  • Weekly/Monthly cash maintenance, cash flows and reconciliation including reporting requirements.
  • Weekly ABL reports for CSC.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and improve processes within the Finance team and its interactions with other departments.
  • Responsible for implementing and complying with all ethical and legal compliance requirements.
  • Gathers data for internal and external audits.
  • Various other financial analysis activities as assigned.
  • Other duties & functions may be assigned to this position as needed.
