About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with Japanese bilingual skills to manage day-to-day corporate accounting operations for a Japanese client. This hybrid, full-time role is based in Irving, TX, with a salary range of $65,000–$75,000 depending on experience. The position involves a comprehensive benefits package and requires business-level English and Japanese communication skills.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Accounting preferred).
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close.
• Experience with financial reporting.
• Experience with account reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Business-level English communication.
• Business-level Japanese communication.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day corporate accounting operations.
• Perform month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger (G/L) accounts.
• Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
• Process payroll and employee benefits accounting.
• Ensure tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Manage cash flow and treasury activities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare management reports for Japan headquarters.
• Improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
