About The Position

The Accountant – Japanese Bilingual position is with a Japanese company located in Irving, TX. This is a full-time, onsite role requiring business-level English and Japanese communication skills. The accountant will be responsible for reviewing and validating various accounting transactions, resolving discrepancies, supporting financial closing and reporting processes, and processing transactions using SAP and related systems. The role also involves maintaining accounting documentation and participating in company initiatives.

Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Accounting preferred).
2–3 years of general accounting experience.
Experience with: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll entries, Bank reconciliations.
Experience using SAP or ERP systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Business-level English communication.
Business-level Japanese communication.

Responsibilities

Review and validate Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and General Ledger (G/L) transactions before processing in SAP.
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while maintaining accurate financial records.
Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
Process accounting transactions using SAP and related accounting systems.
Maintain accounting documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial information.
Participate in meetings, training sessions, and company initiatives as required.
