About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with Japanese bilingual skills to join a Japanese company located in Irving, TX. This is a full-time, onsite position with a salary range of $50,000-$60,000, depending on experience. The role involves reviewing and validating various accounting transactions, resolving discrepancies, supporting financial closing and reporting, and processing transactions using SAP. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Accounting preferred).
2–3 years of general accounting experience.
Experience with: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll entries, Bank reconciliations.
Experience using SAP or ERP systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Business-level English communication.
Business-level Japanese communication.

Responsibilities

Review and validate Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and General Ledger (G/L) transactions before processing in SAP.
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while maintaining accurate financial records.
Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
Process accounting transactions using SAP and related accounting systems.
Maintain accounting documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial information.
Participate in meetings, training sessions, and company initiatives as required.
