Summary: The Senior Accountant performs advanced general ledger accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting in support of accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. The position prepares and reviews journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, fixed-asset, lease, investment, and revenue-recognition activity; investigates variances and complex accounting issues; and prepares financial statements and management reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policy. The role also partners with project and operational teams to improve project setup, cash flow, contract closeout, internal controls, audit readiness, and accounting-process efficiency.
