About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance activities within a growing, publicly traded environment. This is a newly created role resulting from recent organizational growth and acquisition activity. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting U.S. GAAP reporting requirements, SOX compliance, and ongoing internal control initiatives while partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (Associate’s degree considered with relevant experience).
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial reporting activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Assist with the design, documentation, and testing of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance).
  • Support compliance with SEC regulations and public company reporting requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audit processes, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Assist with process improvements and strengthening accounting policies, procedures, and controls as the organization continues to evolve.
  • Partner with the Controller and broader accounting team on special projects related to compliance, integrations, and reporting.
  • Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis as needed.
