About The Position

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting activities related to a recent acquisition, focusing on reviewing financial records and ensuring accuracy during integration. This is a short-term contract role ideal for someone who can quickly step in and contribute to month-end close and reconciliation processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• Strong experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP Business One preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial records of the acquired entity
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with integration of accounting processes and financial data
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information
