About The Position
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting activities related to a recent acquisition, focusing on reviewing financial records and ensuring accuracy during integration. This is a short-term contract role ideal for someone who can quickly step in and contribute to month-end close and reconciliation processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Strong experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP Business One preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze financial records of the acquired entity
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with integration of accounting processes and financial data
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information
