Senior Accountant - Onsite/Hybrid role

Requirements
- Excellent written, verbal, technology and leadership skills.
- Familiar with a variety of accounting and cost accounting principles, practices and concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 4-6 years of general accounting experience including financial analysis.
- Ability to multi-task, interact with others, and possess above average time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Microsoft D365 a plus.
- Master’s in Finance or MBA a plus.
Responsibilities
- Record financial information to the general ledger in compliance with established standards, policies, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as applicable.
- Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and analyses of revenue and expense accounts.
- Prepares internal and external financial statements.
- Assists with internal management reporting and external audit support.
- Designs, implements, and executes efficient internal control procedures.
- Compiles data on financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenditures and forecast budgets.
- Reviewing and analyzing sales and use tax laws in all 50 US states, and Washington DC.
