The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the company’s accounting and financial operations by performing advanced accounting functions, overseeing key financial processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This position works collaboratively across departments to ensure timely and reliable financial information while supporting operational and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain financial records and accounting transactions.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies.
  • Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Process and review accounting entries and supporting documentation.
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, tax, or other accounting functions as assigned.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related matters.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests and financial reviews.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, reports, and schedules as requested by management.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness of financial data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
