About The Position

Navigator Recruiting client is a fast-growing company, having grown by 37% over the last three years and plans to continue growing. The firm is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant, to join the Accounting & Finance team in DTC and help the growing finance operations. The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and work on an Accounting & Finance team of 5 people - all in the DTC office. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Denver Tech Center (DTC) office. Hours are typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some overtime possible at busier times.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
3+ years of accounting experience required.
Understanding of GAAP.
Highly analytical, organized, and collaborative, with strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree and/or CPA is preferred but not required.
Experience using QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Bill.com & ADP is helpful but not required.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized and motivated.

Responsibilities

Work hand-in-hand with the Controller and help support the Accounting & Finance team
Review/manage the day-to-day accounting activities for the firm, including account reconciliations, vendor and contract management, intercompany entries and reconciliations, and perform journal entries as needed.
Assist in performing financial planning and analysis, variance analysis and financial reporting on a monthly basis.
Act as a backup for other accounting processes, including accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), bank and credit card reconciliations, and payroll.
