Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Actively working towards CPA designation
Keen eye for spotting operational gaps and a proven track record of designing clever, effective process improvements.
Naturally curious and love experimenting with AI to make your day-to-day work faster, smarter, and more efficient.
Highly comfortable juggling the complexities of multiple entities operating in different currencies.
Strong technical proficiency in ASPE and IFRS.

Nice To Haves

Hold CPA designation
Experience from public accounting
Strong operational chops from a high-growth tech company
US GAAP knowledge

Responsibilities

Champion the monthly and quarterly close processes—from preparing journal entries to investigating variances—ensuring everything is accurate, complete, and right on time.
Prepare detailed account reconciliations and supporting schedules, proactively hunting down and resolving discrepancies before they become headaches.
Partner across teams to level up our financial systems and processes, playing a vital role in high-impact initiatives like ERP migrations and module implementations.
Guarantee the precise recording of all transactions (revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities) while ensuring strict compliance with accounting policies.
Act as a reliable anchor during audit and review cycles by preparing rock-solid documentation, fielding auditor inquiries, and supporting testing efforts.
Assist in building comprehensive supporting schedules and top-tier documentation for financial reporting.
Keep our financial foundation incredibly secure by ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
Support the Controller in elevating our Accounting Policies and Procedures, constantly seeking out and implementing continuous improvements.
Fearlessly leverage modern AI tools to innovate, drive continuous process improvement, and boost overall efficiency.
