Requirements

3+ years of accounting experience (Senior Accountant, Property Accountant, Project Accountant, Cost Accountant, etc.)
Experience preparing and reviewing P&L statements
Thorough experience with month-end close, journal entries, and credit card reconciliations
Experience reviewing expenses, receipts, invoices, and account activity
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, reporting, data analysis)

Nice To Haves

QuickBooks Online experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reporting packages
Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Analyze profitability and financial performance across business operations
Review expenses, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and proper coding
Manage corporate credit card reconciliations and investigate outstanding transactions
Research discrepancies and resolve accounting issues independently
Analyze large datasets in Excel to support reporting and decision-making
Partner with internal teams to provide financial insight and operational support
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support audits and maintain accurate accounting records
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and efficiency
Assist with accounting system enhancements and automation initiatives
