About The Position

Zema Global is hiring a Senior Accountant to own billing, revenue, collections, and commission accounting. This role will be formative in creating best-in-class processes that scale as the business expands. We need someone who has built processes and systems and has real experience navigating periods of significant change and growth. You’ll be the revenue-side backbone of a finance function being rebuilt from the ground up, with real ownership over how order-to-cash works across a growing, multi-entity company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience with deep revenue/O2C ownership.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience (Advanced Revenue Management module required).
• Experience managing revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Experience operating across multiple countries/currencies.
• Direct experience working with Salesforce in an order-to-cash context.
• Experience with collections/AR management.
• A track record of building process through real organizational change and growth.
• Experience leading at least 1 direct report.

Nice To Haves

• CPA.
• Experience with commission accounting/reconciliation.
• Prior experience in a PE-backed or actively acquisitive company.
• Multi-jurisdiction sales tax compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue recognition within NetSuite while adhering to ASC 606.
• Lead revenue review and clean-up of our existing NetSuite instance.
• Own the order-to-cash cycle end to end across multiple entities.
• Own collections and AR management, driving down DSO and resolving escalated issues.
• Calculate and book commission expense accruals and GL entries, reconciling to compensation plans and Salesforce.
• Own sales tax registration and filing compliance across applicable jurisdictions.
• Take on ad hoc revenue-related projects, including integrating newly acquired entities’ revenue processes.
• Mentor and guide AR/collections support staff as the team builds out.
• Embrace AI tools like Claude into your day-to-day workflow.
