Our North Bay office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance team. This is a replacement role where the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities: Effectively perform assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed Effectively plan and execute assurance engagements Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using your strong technical skills and accounting experience Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing issues relevant to the client’s business.

Requirements

Completed or actively working towards your CPA designation
At least 3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
Enjoy working within a variety of client industries and are keen to develop further knowledge in this area
Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
Display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
