About The Position

The Senior Account Manager is an experienced freight brokerage or 3PL professional responsible for growing existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving profitable revenue growth. This is a revenue-generating role for someone who understands freight markets, can confidently navigate pricing and capacity discussions, and knows how to build long-term customer partnerships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of growing transportation revenue while delivering exceptional customer service. Fairchild Freight is a multimodal logistics provider serving retailers, foodservice distributors, and consumer goods manufacturers nationwide. Requirements

• 3+ years of success in freight brokerage, 3PL sales, or transportation account management
• Demonstrated ability to grow customer relationships and generate revenue
• Strong understanding of truckload transportation, market pricing, capacity, and freight fundamentals
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable in a performance-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of shipper accounts
• Identify and secure new business opportunities
• Expand freight volume, lanes, and services within existing accounts
• Negotiate pricing and transportation agreements
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and provide exceptional service
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful execution
• Maintain pipeline and account activity in CRM
