This role is a full-time, permanent position based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, and is available due to team growth and an employee transition. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years progressive account management, strategic sales, commercial leadership, or industry experience, with a focus on Major Chemical or HI&I.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage larger, more complex, or more strategic accounts while influencing commercial strategy, customer growth plans, and broader business outcomes.
  • Contributes to the creation of new approaches, solutions, or commercial strategies that may be leveraged across customers, markets, or regions.
  • Operates with broad autonomy and contributes at a strategic level through global or cross-functional contributions, often influencing direction beyond their own portfolio.
  • Demonstrates advanced expertise, including deeper technical understanding, regulatory implications, industry-specific requirements, and/or multi-country considerations.
  • Makes decisions with an important impact on the business, including strategic customer relationships, significant revenue opportunities, business risk, and long-term account direction.
  • Communicates with influence and credibility at multiple levels, including senior customer contacts and internal stakeholders. Leads complex discussions, negotiates priorities, and aligns stakeholders around business solutions.
  • Solves complex, ambiguous, and strategic business challenges by anticipating risks, identifying opportunities, and developing solutions that positively impact customer strategy and business performance.
  • Builds and maintains strategic relationships with senior customer stakeholders and key decision-makers.
  • Drives account growth, retention, and long-term strategic opportunities. Influences pricing, negotiations, account planning, and commercial strategy.
  • Leads or influences cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex customer needs, support strategic initiatives, and improve business outcomes.
  • Ability to travel 40-50% of the time, including overnight travel as required, and maintain a valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer and internal relationships, in line with Quadra's core values and strategic vision
  • Sell Quadra's superior product line to potential customers through routine customer visits, joint calls and participation in industry events
  • Develop and utilize internal and external resources, showcasing Quadra’s reputation for service excellence
  • Successfully close new business opportunities by coordinating requirements, skillfully developing proposals, and conducting negotiations that align with contractual requirements, ensuring a mutually beneficial outcome for all parties involved
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and margin objectives
  • Play a crucial role in assisting customers with troubleshooting and identifying optimization opportunities to enhance their experience and maximize their benefits during the development, follow-up and closing of sales opportunities
  • Effectively manage deadlines and handle any emergencies that may arise outside of business hours ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to operations
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements
  • Establish and solidify strong business relationships with key decision makers/influencers to obtain repeat and new sales
  • Prospecting potential customers and current customers for new business / Drive account growth through prospecting and development of key accounts
  • Regular reporting and scheduling utilizing Quadra’s digital tools / Track, analyze and communicate KPI’S to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in the yearly forecasting exercise
  • Delivering presentations, qualifying concerns and closing
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Strategic Industry Managers to market and grow targeted product lines.
