About The Position

As a Senior Account Manager, Global Congresses & Meetings, you’ll help shape how Merck’s Global Congress and Meetings programs come to life in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and collaboration-heavy environment. You’ll be the go-to partner for stakeholders across the business across education, experience and engagement, guiding process, policy, communications, and planning with confidence and clarity. This is a great role for someone who loves connecting people, solving complex problems, and keeping high-visibility programs running smoothly.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical meeting planning and congress management sector
3+ years of experience in account management, specifically within pharmaceutical meetings management.
Experience supporting enterprise meetings programs and congress-related activity in a compliance-conscious setting
A background in stakeholder communications, education, or change management
Strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills, plus experience working with global teams across many time zones

Responsibilities

Building strong relationships with global stakeholders and serving as a trusted point of contact in a structured, quality-focused environment
Turning complex process, policy, and program updates into clear communications, presentations, and training support
Managing multiple timelines and moving pieces while staying organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Partnering across teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and drive consistency across congress and meetings activity
Using critical thinking, sound judgment, and a consultative approach to support planning and program effectiveness
