Requirements

  • 5+ years’ insurance industry experience with at least 2 years’ direct experience with Equine Farm & Ranch
  • Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to conduct presentations and speak to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as agency management systems and web browser software
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Finance or other relevant program
  • Experience with Applied Epic

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Regional Director as well as the Producer by carrying out the MMA-NE Service and Operational standards with the goal of exceeding our retention goals and preventing E&O exposure.
  • Developing strong relationships with our clients, intermediaries as well as with the insurance marketplace.
  • Interacting with accounting, marketing, claims, loss control and management as part of the team’s servicing function.
  • Interacting professionally with producers and other team members while retaining accounts in a proactive manner.
  • Establishing the renewal strategy in concert with Producer, Service and Placement teams.
  • Expanding services at each renewal through upselling and cross selling.
  • Securing exposure information from client in concert with the Producer and identify any coverage deficiencies.
  • Conducting client contract reviews as well as reviewing audits and endorsements.
  • Preparing, maintaining and executing a service calendar in collaboration with clients, service team and producer.
  • Assisting with the pre-renewal/stewardship, renewal proposal presentations, claims reviews and loss control meetings.
  • Addressing and resolving client issues.
