This is a strategic, commercially focussed retainer offering with a proven framework for delivering sustained, long-term growth on Shopify. Based around our proprietary “Ecommerce Growth Flywheel” model, Swanky is uniquely positioned within the Shopify ecosystem to provide strategy across each of Acquisition, Conversion and Retention, underpinned by Data, Strategy, Design and Engineering. Within Swanky, the Growth Accelerator team focuses on driving measurable commercial performance for our clients through a suite of specialist services: CRO, SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Creative & Content, and TikTok Shop. We work with brands who want more than an agency - they want a strategic growth partner. To support our growth, and following a recent investment from YFM, we are now hiring an experienced commercial operator to help scale our Growth Accelerator service. This is a new role which the successful candidate will help to shape and define over the longer-term. This is a consultative sales role. We receive good inbound interest in our Growth Accelerator service, which you will manage, but we are also looking for you to deliberately and proactively grow this demand. You'll work closely with the Growth Accelerator team, GTM Team Lead, Commercial Director and senior stakeholders across Swanky to shape solutions that reflect what each client actually needs. By its nature, this will be a varied role - some clients will require a strategy- and data-led development and CRO roadmap, whereas others might require paid acquisition, SEO and TikTop Shop consultancy. You will enjoy and thrive under this variety, and the breadth of solutions that you can offer to help solve clients’ biggest challenges. We're looking for someone who knows the Shopify ecosystem well (including our key technology partners), has experience leading RFP responses and engaging senior client stakeholders, can quickly understand a brand's growth challenges, and can translate all of this into a compelling, credible proposal for retained services.

Requirements

  • Several years of relevant experience within the Shopify ecosystem – probably in a digital agency or brand/retail context
  • Deep understanding of the Shopify platform and partner landscape, with specialist knowledge in one or more of: Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay-Per-Click advertising (PPC), Paid Social and organic social strategy, Creative & Content production, TikTok Shop strategy and management
  • A consultative, solutions-oriented commercial mindset, with confidence running discovery and building proposals - both technical and strategic
  • The ability to work autonomously where required, but also lead internal and external teams on larger and more complex retainer proposals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the credibility to operate effectively at senior levels
  • A genuine interest in commerce, technology and the changing needs of retailers

Responsibilities

  • Lead demand generation for our Growth Accelerator services, in line with Swanky’s wider business plan and strategic priorities
  • Attend relevant events and dinners with clients, prospective clients and members of the GTM and Growth Accelerator teams
  • Qualify and lead inbound opportunities for Growth Accelerator services, from first contact through to signed SOW
  • Run tailored discovery sessions to understand each client's commercial goals, current performance landscape and growth ambitions
  • Collaborate closely with the Growth Accelerator team – CRO, SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Creative & Content and TikTok Shop specialists – to shape the right solution for each client
  • Build and maintain relationships with Swanky's technology partners and relevant platform contacts to stay close to the market
  • Track and manage opportunities through our CRM, contributing to accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting
