About The Position

This position will be based in our Toronto office. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit. The salary range for this position is $130,000-$175,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Requirements

  • 15+ years of commercial insurance experience, with a strong focus on commercial risk and working as a producer/trusted advisor to clients.
  • Strong client relationship skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Proven experience leading account lifecycles, including renewals, documentation review, and coordination with broking and claims teams.
  • Ability to analyze contracts and insurance requirements, anticipate underwriting issues, and provide clear guidance to clients and colleagues.
  • RIBO license required
  • strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.

  • CIP, FCIP and/or CRM preferred or in progress

Responsibilities

  • Direct and lead assigned commercial risk accounts, working with Associate Account Executives to deliver on client needs.
  • Coordinate all account activity, including client requests, policy changes, additions, deletions, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Work with the Broking Team to initiate and lead the 120‑day renewal process, including preparing and presenting renewal reports and reviewing final policy documentation.
  • Review contracts, policies, endorsements, cover notes, and certificates of insurance to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements and underwriting considerations.
  • Support clients on significant claims issues, liaising with internal claims resources as needed.
  • Develop and lead senior‑level client relationships, identifying cross‑sell opportunities and supporting new business development within the commercial risk segment.
