Senior Account Executive - Northeast

Mews
$89,000 - $110,000Remote

About The Position

The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster and create better guest experiences. You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building. If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here. This role involves owning a self-sourced outbound pipeline across a defined Mid-Atlantic and Northeast territory, covering independent hotels and small groups from Delaware to Michigan to New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Independent hoteliers in this region are still running on fragmented, legacy systems, and the buying decision usually involves more than one person in the room. This role is aligned to SMB, which is identified as properties that own and manage between 1-3 properties OR they have less than 150 rooms in their room count.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-cycle SaaS Account Executive experience, ideally with progression from an SDR or BDR seat
  • A consistent track record of self-sourcing the majority of your pipeline through outbound prospecting, with quota attainment you can speak to in specifics
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deals across finance, operations, and ownership, not single-threaded relationships
  • Comfortable working a consultative, territory-based sales motion
  • AI Fluency Level 3 or equivalent hands-on experience: a deliberate approach to what goes to AI versus what stays with you, and a habit of reviewing everything before it goes external
  • Living and located in the Northeast US

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality tech, fintech, or payments SaaS background
  • Has led, mentored, or managed other AEs, or has a credible path toward it

Responsibilities

  • Build and own a full-cycle outbound pipeline, self-sourcing the majority of new opportunities across your territory
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying committees spanning ownership, general management, and finance or operations
  • Run a disciplined territory motion: structured prospecting cadence, accurate forecasting, and clean pipeline hygiene
  • Partner with our BDRs to convert sourced leads into qualified opportunities and manage handoff timelines
  • Use AI to speed up account research and draft personalized outreach at scale, then apply your own commercial judgment before anything reaches a prospect
  • AI Fluency Level 3: in this role, that means you've moved past using AI for your own outreach and into redesigning how outbound gets done for a territory, building research and messaging approaches other reps can pick up and use. You treat AI output as a draft, not a final answer: you check account facts before they reach a hotel owner or GM, and you can point to a specific time you caught and fixed something AI got wrong.
