About The Position

YipitData is seeking an experienced Account Executive for its Corporate team to manage an enterprise portfolio and drive retention and growth within existing clients in the Technology, Cloud, and Digital Services sectors. The role involves positioning YipitData's products, ensuring successful renewals, identifying new buying centers, and closing upsell opportunities. The Account Executive will own the commercial relationship, build relationships with budget owners and key decision-makers, and act as a trusted advisor by collaborating with solutions and client strategy teams to provide a "must-have" service. This is a remote-friendly opportunity within the US, with compensation based on NYC-level salaries.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of experience in subscription and/or data sales to large Enterprise software, cloud, AI, and technology companies.
  • Experience managing the holistic life cycle of a client relationship from onboarding, quarterly business reviews, renewal, and upsells.
  • Experience selling into large enterprises, negotiating contracts with sophisticated procurement teams, and liaising with senior executives across several business functions such as strategy, sales, marketing, and data/insights.
  • Experience managing a book of business and/or selling a new complex product or service.
  • A track record of not only meeting but exceeding sales goals. This is a quota carrying position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts within the Technology, Cloud, and Digital Services sectors.
  • Own the commercial relationship with existing customers, serving as the primary point of contact for renewals and account growth.
  • Drive customer retention by leading the end-to-end renewal process and ensuring long-term client success.
  • Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities by expanding adoption of YipitData's products across existing accounts.
  • Develop relationships with executive stakeholders, budget owners, and key decision-makers to understand evolving business priorities.
  • Uncover new buying centers and expand YipitData's footprint within enterprise customers.
  • Partner closely with Client Strategy, Solutions, and Product teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maximize product value.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships by helping clients answer critical business questions using YipitData's data and insights.
  • Develop strategic account plans that identify growth opportunities, mitigate renewal risks, and increase customer lifetime value.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast while managing account activity in the CRM.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by sharing market feedback and client insights with internal stakeholders to influence product and go-to-market strategy.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed renewal, expansion, and revenue growth targets.
