About The Position

Join Cisco’s world-class Global Supply Chain as a Semiconductor Test Engineer in the Packaging Technology & Quality team. You’ll work closely with Quality, Reliability, Design, and Packaging engineers in a highly collaborative cross-functional environment. Your work will focus on analog/mixed-signal ICs that power Cisco’s best-in-class Silicon Photonic products. As a Semiconductor Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring performance, quality, and manufacturability of analog/mixed signal ICs and packaged components at the heart of Cisco's Silicon Photonic products. You will drive test development, validation and characterization efforts from NPI thru the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • MSEE with 5+ years or BSEE with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of ATE platforms such Advantest 93k, TEL, Teradyne uFlex
  • Proficient in test automation solutions, and statistical analysis methods and tools (JMP, Python, Matlab, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics, mixed-signal fundamentals and test methodologies
  • Familiar with OSAT workflow and operations
  • Prior experience with optical transceiver semiconductor components is a plus.
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flow and processes
  • Familiar with IC and Package Reliability Qualification testing.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive execution of automated test programs for analog/mixed-signal ICs at the wafer and package-level using industry standard ATE platforms
  • Analyze characterization, qualification and production data to set test limits, optimize yield and improve test efficiency
  • Drive specification, evaluation and selection of test hardware interfaces including probe cards, sockets and test boards
  • Provide cross-functional support for product debug, failure analysis, and continuous test process improvement.
