About The Position

Contribute to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of memory/logic/analog circuits. Provide parasitic modeling and assist in design validation, reticle experiments and required tape-out revisions. Oversee and manage the layout process including floor-planning, placement, and routing. Perform verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry standard simulators. Contribute to cross group communication to work towards standardization and group success. Work with marketing, probe, assembly, test, process integration, and product engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of product. Proactively solicit guidance from standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve the design quality. Drive innovation into the future memory generations within a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Interpreting product specifications into circuit functions, utilize both analog and digital CMOS design skills to build up the various circuits blocks like current mirror, bandgap, reference generator, charge pump and voltage regulator.
  • Product debugging/verification skills to verify performance/Reliability of circuit (I/O's, voltage regulators, generators, amplifiers, oscillators, pumps, translators, repair related circuits, DLL, PLL and standard control logic).
  • Knowledge and skills of optimizing design rules for cost, performance, and functionality and reliability.
  • Performing circuit simulations using standard industry simulators such as SPICE and VERILOG.
  • Assist overall design, layout, and optimization of memory circuits.
