About The Position

In this role, you will serve as a Manufacturing Engineer in our advanced packaging semiconductor fab. You will create standard operating procedures, develop reports to track KPIs, improve fab efficiency, and coordinate lot activities to meet on-time delivery schedule for our customers. The employee will be required to work in a cleanroom environment: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, face mask, nitrile gloves, and safety glasses).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • 1-3+ years experience.
  • Foundational understanding of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts, with interest in applying structured problem‑solving and continuous improvement methods.
  • Exposure to capacity modeling, throughput analysis, or similar planning tools through coursework or project experience.
  • Prior experience working with SOP's.
  • Experience collaborating with manufacturing or operations teams to understand process flow and efficiency drivers.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly, such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to team success and customer satisfaction.
  • US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of, or ability to obtain, a US government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor Manufacturing Internship or co‑op experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations, or a related technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and publish standard operating procedures for manufacturing floor.
  • Apply data analytics and basic statistical methods to translate factory data into meaningful insights that support operational decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support improvements in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), Cycle Time, and bottleneck tool performance.
  • Contribute to capacity modeling and fab improvement initiatives within assigned functional areas.
  • Support customer delivery commitments and help monitor on‑time performance metrics.
  • Develop queries and reports for tracking factory KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities across all shifts.
  • Maintain an on‑floor presence to observe processes, identify constraints, and support tactical issue resolution.
  • Participate in the justification of capital expenditures that align with capacity, development, or factory growth needs.
  • Plan and manage expedited lots in the fab.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
