About The Position

Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC is seeking a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing Pump/Abatement/Chiller equipment. The goal is to improve product quality, drive yield improvements, reduce costs, enhance productivity, and manage risks, as well as resolve manufacturing line problems. This role involves identifying, diagnosing, and resolving equipment-related issues using methodologies like failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC/FDC. The engineer will coordinate and execute equipment and material evaluations and optimizations, implement changes in the process steps, lead and participate in yield improvement and cost optimization activities, handle new equipment qualifications, and manage, audit, and collaborate with equipment suppliers to meet quality, cost, and risk mitigation objectives. The position also requires supervising the health of assigned equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and developing proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks that could impact Fab cycle time (CT) or turns.
