About The Position
This role’s responsibilities are all focused on one thing: Customer Satisfaction. As a Semi Driver for Sunstate, you will be loading, securing, delivering, and picking up various types of large construction equipment at customer sites throughout your area’s metro. This role also consists of instructing customers on safe and proper use of all equipment, completing required paperwork, and following all DOT/FMCSA/Sunstate regulations and protocols.
Requirements
- Unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a semi, flatbed, or heavy haul preferred.
- Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
- Familiarity with the local metro area or ability to navigate using GPS.
Nice To Haves
- Flatbed or heavy haul experience preferred.
- Experience with construction equipment is helpful but not required.
