About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Semi Driver where safety and people are core values. This role is focused on customer satisfaction, involving the loading, securing, delivery, and pickup of large construction equipment at customer sites. The driver will also instruct customers on equipment usage, complete paperwork, and adhere to all DOT/FMCSA/Sunstate regulations. Requirements

• Unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a semi, flatbed, or heavy haul preferred.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Familiarity with your service area.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience with construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Loading, securing, delivering, and picking up various types of large construction equipment at customer sites.
• Instructing customers on safe and proper use of all equipment.
• Completing required paperwork.
• Following all DOT/FMCSA/Sunstate regulations and protocols.
• Communicating with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Familiarizing yourself with your service area.
