About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a Semi Driver. This position is local, with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM, and includes overtime eligibility. Requirements

Unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a semi.
Physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
Customer-oriented with the ability to instruct customers on equipment operation.
Team-player with effective and professional communication skills.
Safety oriented with a commitment to maintaining safety standards and a safe driving record.
Coachable with a willingness to learn, adapt, and meet Sunstate's standard of excellence.
Detail oriented and capable of providing superior customer service.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Drive a semi-truck locally.
Load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
Instruct customers on the safe and proper operation of equipment.
Complete paperwork.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain communication with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
Prioritize safety and maintain a safe driving record.
