About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Semi Driver where safety and people are core values. We care about our people and it shows! This is a local driving position with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday, with the occasional rotating on-call schedule. The typical shift is 7 AM - 5 PM, and overtime is eligible. The branch location is 4460 Moreland Ave, Conley, GA 30288. Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis. Requirements

Unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
Minimum 1 year experience in a semi.
Must possess physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
Customer-oriented.
Team-player.
Safety oriented.
Coachable, willingness to learn, adapt, and meet Sunstate's standard of excellence.
Detail oriented and capable of providing superior customer service.

Nice To Haves

Wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
Instruct customers on the safe & proper operation of the equipment.
Complete paperwork.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain communication with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
Maintain safety standards and a safe driving record.
