About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Semi Driver to join our Transportation team. This full-time position involves operating vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership, including picking up new equipment from John Deere factories. The role also requires instructing customers on basic equipment operating procedures, ensuring safe and timely delivery of equipment, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Adherence to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and maintaining required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policy are crucial.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL- A).
- 1+ year of experience pulling a gooseneck, tilt, or utility trailer.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles safely, including large oversized agricultural machines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a semi-truck operator.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
