About The Position

United Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Self-Sufficiency Case Manager in Marshall, Minnesota. The role provides case management, advocacy, and support to individuals and families as they build confidence, skills, and stability. The Case Manager helps participants set and achieve personal goals, stabilize housing, and become independent from public assistance. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year. The position is open until filled.

Requirements

Two to four years of education and/or experience in a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to assess needs and create action plans.
Experience working with multiple population types and advocating for individuals.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Sensitivity and understanding when working with cultural and economic differences.

Nice To Haves

A four-year post-secondary degree in Human Services is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide case management services to help individuals and families set and achieve personal goals.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans.
Assist participants in stabilizing their housing situations.
Maintain detailed case records, document contacts, and protect participant confidentiality.
Support participants in becoming independent from public assistance.
Build relationships with service providers, attend networking meetings, and advocate for participants.
Track referrals, maintain accurate documentation, and complete required reports on time.
