About The Position
Liberty Resources is seeking a Self-Pay Account Representative to support patient account management and revenue cycle activities for its School-Based Health Services program. The representative serves as a liaison between families, students, and school personnel while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate account information. The position is remote and pays $23.00–$25.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree preferred and/or medical billing and collections training.
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
- NextGen EHR experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound calls regarding balances, billing statements, and payment options.
- Collect and process patient payments.
- Establish payment plans and financial agreements.
- Assist patients and families with billing inquiries.
- Document account activity and maintain accurate records.
- Support month-end reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Resolve customer service issues and account concerns.
