About The Position
The Self-Determination Assistant provides 10–12 hours per week of respite support to a person with disabilities. The role involves supporting participation in community events and social engagement, including outdoor activities, sports, and other meaningful activities that may require additional interaction. The position requires use of a personal vehicle and may involve travel to the Rochester and Buffalo areas. Friday evening and weekend availability is required. Starting pay is $20.25 per hour.
