About The Position

Join the team at J.W. Jung Seed Company, an industry leader in mail-order and retail gardening. With six garden centers across Wisconsin, Jung Seed Company ships thousands of quality seeds, plants, and gardening accessories to all 50 states. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seed Processing Supervisor to support our Seed Department with maintaining bulk inventory, creating and processing work orders and overseeing a team.

Requirements

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of algebraic concepts
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
Willingness to learn and grow with the company

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of bulk seed inventory
Create and process work orders to support production needs across multiple product lines
Supervise and coordinate a team of approximately 12-15 employees
Ensure production goals and deadlines are met in a timely manner
Plan and allocate weekly workload to maintain efficiency across all production areas
Provide cross-functional support
Handle miscellaneous tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Other duties as assigned
