About The Position
Provide security presence on campus during school hours, events and as needed throughout the academic year. Monitor campus facilities and grounds to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- Honorably retired Law Enforcement with valid CCW or LEOSA
- Willing to complete a background check and fingerprinting per state/ local requirements
- Be willing to complete all mandatory training required annually
- Maintain proper certifications
- Reasonable availability during major school events which are scheduled at the beginning of the year
Responsibilities
- Provide security presence on campus during school hours, events and as needed throughout the academic year.
- Monitor campus facilities and grounds to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Complete all annual mandatory safety, compliance, and school-required training.
- Adhere strictly to all state, local, and school policies regarding firearm safety, access control, and incident response.
