Part-Time Temporary Security Officer
About The Position
Provide for the safety of all individuals frequenting Coastal Carolina Community College, maintaining security and fire protection for facilities and capital equipment assets on campus, and prepare security related reports. Weekday, weekend, and holidays. Prefer six month's Security experience; provide protection for faculty, staff, students, and property. Must be able to patrol campus on foot and in vehicles; and complete written accident reports on campus and at off-campus extension sites. Additional duties include ticket writing, directing traffic during peak periods and special events. Excellent oral and written communication skills; good customer service skills are essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- CPR/First Responder Certification or willingness to obtain within three (3) months
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills
