About The Position

The Security professional plays a critical role in safeguarding the physical and digital assets of an organization within the United States. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and other security breaches. The role involves continuous monitoring of premises and systems to identify vulnerabilities and respond promptly to incidents. The Security professional collaborates with various departments to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to safety and security. Ultimately, this role ensures a safe environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security guard license or certification as required by state law.
• Proven experience in a security role or related field.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or advanced security training.
• Experience with electronic security systems and access control technologies.
• Familiarity with federal and state security regulations and compliance standards.
• Previous experience in a corporate or high-security environment.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to facilities to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with organizational standards.
• Operate and monitor security equipment such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees as needed.
