SECURITY HIRING EVENT
About The Position
Sam Houston Race Park is hiring experienced Security team members to help provide a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for guests, team members, and property. Security team members monitor the property, assist guests, respond to situations, and support the overall safety and security of the park. The role calls for alert, dependable, professional, safety-minded people who are comfortable interacting with guests and team members and can communicate effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are invited to attend the Security hiring event at Sam Houston Race Park’s Administration Building on Wednesday, November 11th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Selected candidates may be required to obtain a Texas State Security License.
Requirements
- Previous Security experience is required; the posting specifies 1–2 years.
- Must be professional, dependable, and safety-minded.
- Must be comfortable interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Private Security License preferred.
