About The Position

Kingsway, a locally owned and family-operated senior living community in Schenectady, New York, is hiring Security staff to oversee the safety of its Independent Living Community. The role involves welcoming visitors, checking in overnight guests, answering telephone calls, providing information, sorting and delivering packages or internal mail, responding to emergencies, and documenting incidents and shift information. The position also includes completing minor maintenance requests or entering them into a computer and conducting hourly building rounds, including clearing snow from main door entryways.

The stated schedule is every other Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Weekend work receives an additional $2.50 per hour. Kingsway describes itself as committed to providing residents with compassion, respect, and dignity, and highlights support for work-family balance and career advancement.

Responsibilities
