As a Security Vehicle Patrol Officer - DoD Clearance Required in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements and applicable procedures.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
