About The Position

As a Security Officer DoD TS SCI Clearance Required Patrol in Herndon, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology environment, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture built on integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a corporate technology office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office floors, lobbies, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, client contacts, and emergency responders as needed.
