We are seeking an experienced Security/Telecom Construction Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of security and telecommunications infrastructure on large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and telecom integration, along with proven leadership in managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent field experience.
7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 3+ years focused on low-voltage, security, or telecom systems.
Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, structured cabling, and telecom infrastructure.
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades on fast-paced projects.
Familiarity with design-build project delivery and working in highly technical environments (data centers, semiconductor, healthcare, or critical facilities a plus).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the construction and installation of security and telecom systems, including structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and communication networks.
Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and project stakeholders to review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall construction timelines.
Track budgets, process change orders, and manage cost controls.
Conduct regular site walks and inspections to ensure proper installation practices and adherence to code.
Serve as the point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal project teams on all security/telecom scope-related matters.
Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and resolve issues proactively to minimize delays.
Ensure compliance with company standards, local building codes, safety regulations, and security/telecom industry best practices.
