About The Position

As the Security Supervisor, you will direct and coordinate the activities of the Security Officers actively engaged in the execution of the CFI, Inc. security programs under the direction of Director of Security and/or General Manager. You will provide outstanding customer service to guests and resort visitors, interact, understand and be responsive to the flexible needs of all departments. You will be responsible for resort surveillance (vehicle/foot/video), including pools and storage lots. You will also attend and participate in operational, staff, safety committee, and risk management meetings as directed and ensure Westgate Disaster Plans, Emergency procedures and Standard Operating Procedures are followed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience
Class D License
Valid Drivers License
Strong computer skills with the ability to prepare clear, professional reports
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, walk and lift up to 50lbs

Nice To Haves

Red Cross Certification, CPR, AED, First aid.

Responsibilities

Supervise security officers
Direct and/or conduct internal criminal and civil investigations and act as a liaison to Law Enforcement and Emergency Services Personnel
Provide outstanding customer service to guests and resort visitors
Interact, understand and be responsive to the flexible needs of all departments
Must be able to perform the following functions on the computer: type incident reports, effectively read and respond to email from other departments and guests, research safety standards and procedures, maintain security systems, and maintain electronic key control
Ensure subordinates perform their duties in accordance with corporate policies and state law regulating the activities of the security officers
Supervise and or conduct incident investigations as required by policy using the computer
Respond to critical incidents and assume control of the incident scene, including fire alarms
Oversee operation and maintenance of security systems, electronic lock security and key control access systems using the computer
Responsible for resort surveillance (vehicle/foot/video), including pools and storage lots.
Coordinate and supervise special event security
Attend and participate in operational, staff, safety committee, and risk management meetings as directed
Ensure Westgate Disaster Plans, Emergency procedures and Standard Operating Procedures are followed
