Security Supervisor; PM Shift, 1.0 FTE

About The Position

The Security Supervisor provides leadership and operational oversight for Security Services and Parking Services. The role includes managing crisis situations, personnel, staffing, scheduling, and financial responsibilities while fostering a culture focused on safety, teamwork, accountability, and superior service. The supervisor leads, mentors, and develops team members; makes sound decisions during critical situations; and partners with clinical and operational leaders to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and team members. The schedule alternates between two weeks: Week 1 is Tuesday through Friday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.; Week 2 is Monday through Saturday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in law enforcement or security.
Valid driver’s license and eligibility for a company driving permit.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business, emergency management, or a related field.
Obtain CPR, De-Escalation, Patient Restraint, Handcuff, Pepper Spray/JPX, BWC, and TASER certifications within 6 months if not already held.
Obtain IAHSS Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor certification within 18 months.
Obtain a Conceal Carry Permit within 6 months.
