This Public Safety Supervisor position requires a working knowledge of health care security and safety concepts, principles, procedures, and techniques. Skill in the use of communications systems and equipment, and in the use of security vehicles. Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written procedures and instructions and to respond in a professional manner in emergencies. Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with a wide range and level of people. Ability to assist with investigations. The physical demands of the job include a wide range of body movements including walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and may require some lifting. Frequent contact with staff, visitors, and the general public. Good visual and audio abilities required for indoor and outdoor monitoring and patrolling. Ability to work various shifts on an on-going basis required.
